Abergafren Lodge is in Minffordd, right on the edge of the river estuary. It's a detached chalet for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on the ground floor.
The main thing is the position. You look out over the water towards Portmeirion. You can walk along the beach to the village. It's about a ten minute stroll.
Penrhyndeudraeth village is a five minute walk the other way. It's got a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a chip shop. It's handy.
You're just outside the Snowdonia National Park. Porthmadog is a couple of miles away for supermarkets and the harbour. The steam railway station is there. The beaches at Black Rock Sands are a short drive. Harlech Castle is about fifteen minutes by car. For a bigger trip, the Llŷn Peninsula is about half an hour down the coast.
The place has a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's a patio with a BBQ. Towels and bedding are included. There's WiFi and parking. No pets.
