White Sands is a flat at the top of the old church in Criccieth. It’s on the second floor, so you have your own staircase up to it. There are a lot of stained glass windows, which is nice when the sun comes through.
It’s for four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well looked after and comfortable.
You’re right in the middle of town. The pub is about a minute’s walk, same with a couple of restaurants. The beach is a five minute walk down the hill. It’s a pebble beach, good for a paddle or if you’re into kayaking.
Criccieth Castle is just up the road. You can walk to it. For a bigger day out, Snowdonia National Park starts about five miles away at Porthmadog. That’s also where you can get the Welsh Highland Railway steam train. Harlech Castle is about half an hour’s drive down the coast.
For facilities, it has a dishwasher, washing machine, wi-fi, and parking for one car. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets sorry.
