The bedrooms are beamed and the en-suite bedrooms each have a four poster bed, making this a very cosy retreat. There is plenty of space in the garden to enjoy games, or to just relax in this peaceful rural location. Situated in a small hamlet just 2 miles from the Solway Coast, this is an ideal holiday property for nature enthusiasts. Enjoy coastal walks, fishing and cycling along the quiet lanes. Golf is available in the nearby Victorian seaside resort of Silloth, as well as bird watching at the Solway Marshes. This location is perfect for exploring The Lakes and the Scottish Borders, as it lies between the popular lakeside town of Keswick and the historic city of Carlisle, both within 20 miles. The traditional market town of Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth, is 16 miles away and Hadrian’s Wall is easily accessible. Beach 5 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles. Bank holiday weekend at the end of august every year there is a Solfest weekend which is very noisy. Fri/Sat/Sun.
