Halcyons Rest is a lodge on the Hengar Manor Holiday Park, near St Tudy in Cornwall. It's detached, so no one's next door, and you park right beside it.
It sleeps nine in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One downstairs has a shower. The one upstairs has a corner bath with a shower over it. The stairs are standard lodge stairs, not too steep.
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with twin beds and one with a kingsize. Upstairs, there's a bedroom with a double and a single bed. The other upstairs room is the main one, with a kingsize bed, a Smart TV, and doors out to a private balcony. The view from there is good, over the park fields.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen is new. There's a dining table and sofas around an electric fire. Doors go out to a patio.
Being on the park, you can use the facilities. There's an indoor heated pool, a restaurant, and a pub. There's also fishing on the lakes and a golf course nearby.
For things to do, you're about half an hour from the north coast. Newquay and Bude are that way. Port Isaac and Tintagel are a bit closer. Bodmin Moor is inland if you want walks. If you're planning trips, the National Trust Cornwall and Cornwall Council countryside site have good information.
In terms of what's there: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi is provided. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. It has an electric vehicle charger on site. The rating is 3 Star, which means it's comfortable and clean. No pets, sorry.
