Scrumpy Cottage is in a little hamlet just outside Blisland on Bodmin Moor. It's at the end of a quiet lane. The garden catches the sun all day.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable but not fancy. The cottage used to be a cider house. There's an old cider press in the garden and a bottle hidden in the lounge ceiling upstairs.
The layout is upside down. The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs. The kitchen and living room are upstairs. The stairs are proper cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
There's an iron ring on the wall in the bathroom. It was used to tie up a bull when the building was a stable.
Blisland village is five minutes away by car. It has a village green and a good pub. You're right on the edge of Bodmin Moor for walking. It's wild up there.
The north Cornish coast is about a twenty minute drive. Port Isaac, Padstow, Polzeath, and Boscastle are all within half an hour. Bude is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a garden with a barbecue, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
