The Goose Nest is on Bunny's Hill in Cornwall. It's a small detached place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
It's in the countryside. You look out over a lake from the main room. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The bed is king size. The shower is a good size.
The kitchenette is compact. It has what you need for basic meals. There's a BBQ outside in the garden area. The garden is yours to use.
It's a quiet spot. You'll need a car. The nearest proper town is Bodmin, about a ten minute drive. They've got supermarkets and shops there. Bodmin Jail is interesting if you like history.
For walking, Cardinham Woods is very close. Good for a proper leg stretch. The Camel Trail for cycling is nearby too. You can follow it to Wadebridge and Padstow. Padstow is about twenty minutes by car, busy in season but nice for fish and chips.
The north coast beaches like Polzeath are within half an hour. The south coast, like around St Austell Bay, is also about thirty minutes. The Eden Project is roughly twenty five minutes away. It's worth a visit.
Facilities: there's parking right by the cottage, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. There's a TV. No pets.
