Hingham Mill Cottage is a converted water mill near Sladesbridge in Cornwall. It's a proper old building, Grade II listed, parts of it are hundreds of years old. You can see the old leat that fed the mill right there in the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a good sized shower. The layout is upside down, so the living room and kitchen are upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, as you'd expect.
You're about a fifteen minute drive from the coast. Padstow is close, maybe twenty minutes. Wadebridge is nearer for shops. The River Allen runs through the grounds. If you've got a fishing licence, you're allowed to fish there.
There's a garden with a patio, and parking for one car. Inside there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Bodmin Moor is about half an hour inland for walking. For local attractions, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, and Cornwall AONB has walking information.
