It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite with a king-size bed. There's another king-size and a bunk room for kids. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's finished to a high standard and has good facilities.
The kitchen is spacious and open plan. There's a wood burner in the sitting area. The terrace has an outdoor fireplace. You also get access to the hotel's spa, leisure facilities, and restaurant if you want it.
For a local walk, you can head down to the riverside in Newby Bridge. The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway is here too. You can get the steam train down to Lakeside and visit The Lakes Aquarium, or get a Windermere Lake Cruises boat from there.
Cartmel is about a ten-minute drive. The village is nice, famous for its sticky toffee pudding. The racecourse is there. So is L'Enclume, the Michelin-starred restaurant. Holker Hall and Gardens is close by.
You're on the southern edge of the Lake District, so places like Windermere town and Bowness are roughly fifteen minutes away. For bigger hills, Coniston and the southern fells are within half an hour.
Facilities wise: it's got the hot tub, the EV charger, a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. It accepts up to two pets.
