Sunny Beck is in Low Nibthwaite, right down by the southern end of Coniston Water. It's semi-detached. The place used to be part of the old sawmill, I think it's from the 1700s.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The garden is good, about half an acre. You can sit outside. You've got private fishing rights along the beck that runs past.
There's a big garage barn for storing a car, bikes, or a boat if you've brought one. You can park two cars.
For walking or biking, you can head straight out from the door. You're on the quieter end of Coniston Water. The nearest pub is about a mile and a quarter away. The shop is in Greenodd, about four and a half miles.
You're well placed for the rest of the Lakes. Coniston village is a short drive north. Ulverston is about eight miles south. Windermere and Ambleside are within a half hour drive.
Facilities: wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're planning your trip, the Lake District National Park site is useful. So is the National Trust page for the area.
