Methera Cottage is in Lowick Green, Cumbria. It's a semi-detached cottage for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's a modern build, so it's not a traditional old Lakeland cottage. The ceilings are high and it feels light. The living space is all open plan. It's compact, but it works. There's a sofa, a dining table, and a kitchen area all in one room. The kitchen is new.
Outside, there's a flagged veranda with seating. There are also some stone outbuildings you can use. Good for bikes or wet walking gear. You can bring two dogs.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, and Sky TV. The bedding and towels are included. There's a private parking space with an electric vehicle charger.
Location wise, it's quiet. Ulverston is about a ten minute drive. Good for shops and pubs. The Laurel and Hardy Museum is there if you're interested.
For the South Lakes, Coniston Water is roughly 15 minutes by car. Windermere and Bowness are about half an hour. The ferry at Hawkshead can cut the time down if you're going that way. If you want a steam train, the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway is nearby.
