Methera Cottage is up at Lowick Green. It's semi-detached and modern, built to look like the older ones here. It's for two people.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom, and a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, a table, and the sofa all together. There's a big window so it feels light. It's compact but it's got everything you need.
Outside, there's a flagged area with a table and chairs. There are also some stone outbuildings you can use for bikes or walking gear. Your pets can sleep in there if you want. You get one private parking space, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
You're about a ten minute drive from Ulverston. It's a market town with cobbled streets, decent shops, and a few pubs and cafes. They've got the Laurel and Hardy Museum there. Further out, Coniston Water and Windermere are within a half hour drive for boat trips or walks. For walks, the Lake District National Park site has good maps. The National Trust looks after a lot of the land and houses around here too.
You can bring up to two dogs. I think there's a local charge for the EV charger, so check the instructions in the cottage when you arrive.
