Woodburn Cottage

Woodburn Cottage is in Kirkby-in-Furness. It's a mid-terrace house, so you've got neighbours on both sides.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need, but don't expect anything fancy. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs.

You can get to the local pub and a shop in about five minutes on foot. They're fine. The beach is a couple of miles away.

You're south of the main Lakes here, so it's quieter. Coniston Water is about a twenty minute drive. The road over the fells to Ulverston takes fifteen minutes and the views are good, but it is steep and narrow in parts.

Ravenglass is up the coast road. That's where you get the Ravenglass and Eskdale miniature railway. It's a nice trip if you've got kids, or if you just like trains. Muncaster Castle is near there too.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
