Woodburn Cottage
Woodburn Cottage is in Kirkby-in-Furness. It's a mid-terrace cottage, so you've got neighbours on one side. The garden is yours though, it's enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything is clean and it works, but don't expect anything showy. There's a woodburning stove, which is nice in the cooler months.
The village has a shop and a pub about a five minute walk away. The coast is about two miles, so you can get to the beach easily. For bigger days out, Coniston Water is a short drive. The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is up the coast road. It's a small steam train that goes into the valley, good if you've got kids or just like that sort of thing.
You're well placed for the south and west Lakes. Ulverston is about fifteen minutes drive over the fells. The road is steep but the views are good. Further afield, you can get to places like Muncaster Castle, or head into the central Lakes, all within about half an hour.
Inside, it's got what you need: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is secure for them.
