Pine Lodge
This is Pine Lodge. It's one of five here in Lindal, but each one is detached. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both on the ground floor. One double and one twin. It has two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's modern and comfortable.
The layout is open plan. There's a private terrace with a hot tub. It looks out over the landscaped grounds. You can park two cars.
A local pub and restaurant is about a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles. The coast is four miles.
If you're planning to get out, Ulverston is five minutes by car. It's a market town, good for shops and cafes. It's also the start of the Cumbria Way walk.
Barrow-in-Furness is ten minutes away. That's where you'll find the bigger supermarkets, a cinema, and a golf course.
For the lakes, Newby Bridge is about twenty minutes drive. That's where the Lakes Aquarium is, and you can get boat trips on Windermere from there. The South Lakes Safari Zoo is also just ten minutes away.
The main Lake District towns like Bowness, Ambleside, and Coniston are all within a half hour drive. Good if you want to walk or go out on the water.
Inside there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
