Beckside House is in Dalton-in-Furness. It's a small town, not a village. The house is a terrace and you get the whole place.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. The main bedroom has a super king bed. The second room has two singles that can be zipped together into another super king if you'd prefer that. Both have televisions.
It's all on one level, which is handy. The living space is open plan with French doors to a small, enclosed patio garden. There's a table there and a barbecue. The kitchen is part of that room. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, and an air fryer.
The bathroom has a big bath and a separate drench shower.
Parking is right outside on the driveway.
Dalton town centre is a two minute walk. There's a co-op, a few pubs that do food, and some takeaway places. For a bigger shop, Barrow is about ten minutes by car.
Furness Abbey is a few miles away. It's a ruin, but a good one. You can walk there from here if you don't mind a bit of a trek. The Dock Museum in Barrow is worth a look if you're into shipbuilding history.
The Lake District National Park starts a short drive away. Windermere and Coniston Water are about a half hour drive. The coast is closer. There are a few beaches within ten or fifteen minutes, like Sandscale Haws, which is a National Trust spot.
Facilities wise: All bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. We accept up to two dogs.
