This place is called Serenity. It's a lodge on Port Haverigg Marina, near Millom in Cumbria. It's detached and you get the deck and garden area to yourselves.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Two rooms have twin beds. The third one can be set up as a twin or a double, you just need to let us know before you arrive. There are two bathrooms, both with showers.
The living space is all open plan. The kitchen has what you need to cook. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean.
You can bring up to two dogs.
Being on the marina, you can see the water from the deck. The park there does water skiing and paddleboarding if that's your thing. Herdwick's cafe is there if you want a coffee or a bite to eat.
Haverigg beach is just down the road. It's a big sandy beach, good for walks. Silecroft beach is a short drive along the coast. The RSPB Hodbarrow nature reserve is nearby. The Cumbrian Coastal Way path runs past, so you can walk from the door.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Coniston, Hawkshead, and Ambleside are all roughly within an hour's drive. Millom has shops, a couple of pubs, and a train station. Muncaster Castle and its owl centre is about a twenty minute drive.
Facilities are included: bedding and towels, a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking on the drive. There's a golf course locally and you can arrange horse riding nearby.
