Lazy Cottage
Lazy Cottage is in Haverigg. It's south of the main Lakes, in a quieter bit of Cumbria. The village is on the coast.
The cottage sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. There's a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
It's on a quiet street. The back yard is enclosed, so it's safe for a dog or kids. We allow one well-behaved dog.
You're close to things here. There's a local shop and a pub about 50 yards away. A restaurant is about 75 yards. Haverigg Beach is a short walk for a breeze and a bit of sand.
Inside, it's got what you need. There's a Smart TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. We include all bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are there if you need them.
For walking, Black Combe is right there. It's a proper hill with great views over the sea and fells. A 30 minute drive gets you to Coniston and the Langdales for more serious hikes.
Muncaster Castle is about 20 minutes away. They have gardens and owl displays. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is nearby too, which is a nice trip, especially with kids. Hawkshead village and the Beatrix Potter Gallery are about a 40 minute drive.
