Hartrees House
Hartrees House is in Silecroft, on the Cumbrian coast. It's a semi-detached house, and it's big. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Sleeps six. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped.
The beach is about a five minute walk away. It's a good one, quiet and clean. From the house you can see Black Coombe. You can hear the sea when it's quiet.
The local pub is a few hundred yards down the road. The nearest shop is in Millom, about four miles away. You'll want to drive for a big shop.
For walks, you can go straight onto the fells from the door, or walk along the beach for miles. It's a good base if you want to avoid the busier central Lakes. Coniston Water is about a 25 minute drive. The market towns of Broughton-in-Furness and Ulverston are about 20 minutes away, good for a wander and something to eat.
The house has parking. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and an enclosed garden. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
