Hartrees House
Hartrees House is in Silecroft, on the west coast of the Lake District. It's a big semi-detached house, sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The house is about five minutes' walk from the beach. It's a good beach. Quiet, clean, with sand and rock pools. You can see Black Combe from the garden. It's a proper fell.
There's a pub just down the road. The shop is in Millom, about four miles away. We usually get supplies there.
The house is good for both the coast and the fells. You can walk up Black Combe from the village. For a drive, Coniston Water is about half an hour away. That gets you into the busier central lakes if you want that. The towns of Broughton-in-Furness and Ulverston are about twenty minutes by car.
Facilities: you've got the enclosed garden, parking on the drive, wifi, TV, a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
