The Old Court House is in Millom. It's converted from the old police station and magistrates court, which is why the name. It's on the southwest edge of the Lake District.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a kingsize bed and one with three singles. One bathroom with a shower. The living room's got a high vaulted ceiling and stairs up to a galleried floor. That's where the kitchen and dining table are.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. On-site parking for one car.
Millom's a small town. The local shop and a few pubs are a couple of minutes' walk away. There's a supermarket a bit further. The beach at Haverigg is about a mile and a half.
The RSPB Hodbarrow Nature Reserve is nearby. It's good for a walk and birdwatching. For something more active, there's Port Haverigg Watersports for paddleboarding and things about ten minutes away. Fairways Golf Centre is about a fifteen minute drive.
