Nell's Cottage is in Dalton in Furness. It's end of terrace, attached to the main house on one side and another holiday let on the other. You've got your own garden which is enclosed. It's quiet and not overlooked, just fields and a trout lake you can see from the back. On a clear day you can see Scafell Pike and the Old Man of Coniston.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently so it's in good order. There are grab rails in the shower, just a heads up.
The big pull is the quiet and the views. It's properly rural. For a day out, the South Lakes Wild Animal Park is close by. The beach and dunes at Sandscale Haws are National Trust and about a 15 minute drive. Coniston Water and Windermere are both within half an hour if you want the big lakes. The Lake District National Park authority site is good for planning.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, about a mile and a half away. They do food.
Facilities: there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there. No pets.
