Harbour Cottage is in Haverigg. It's by the harbour, obviously, and you look out over that and the river. The village is quiet. The beach is sandy and it's a good stretch, about three miles.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. Everything works.
There's a shop and pubs about a minute's walk away. They're handy. The beach is right there if you want to walk. You can watch the water skiing on the lagoon sometimes. There's fishing, a golf course, and horse riding if you're into that.
It's a good spot for the Lake District. You can drive up through places like Broughton-in-Furness and it's quieter than going from the other side. Less crowded. Coniston and the southern lakes are about half an hour by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, parking on site, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
