Combe Cairn is on a quiet street in Millom. It's an old terraced house in the town part here. We've kept it simple.
It sleeps four, across two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything should work. There's a pretty steep staircase, common for these houses.
The back garden is enclosed. Good for sitting out. You can see Black Combe from the upstairs back bedroom on a clear day. It's a proper walk if you fancy it.
You're a short walk from a pub and a couple of places to eat. The local shop is about ten minutes away.
The coastal path is about a ten minute drive away at Haverigg. You can walk from there. Silecroft beach is about the same distance.
If you want to drive, Muncaster Castle is about twenty minutes away. The miniature railway at Ravenglass is right next to it. Bootle railway station is five miles away if you want to get the train along the Cumbrian coast line. It's a nice way to see the area without driving.
For bigger days out, you're an hour or so from the main Lake District centres like Coniston or Windermere, but you've got the quieter western fells a lot closer.
In the house, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street outside. No pets, sorry.
