This is Court End Cottage. It's in Silecroft. That's on the Cumbrian coast, west of the Lake District proper. It's a quiet spot.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One en-suite toilet. We accept one dog.
Inside, there's a living room with an open fire and a separate sitting room with a TV. The kitchen has a wood burner and French doors to the patio. Upstairs, the main bathroom has a slipper bath and a separate rain shower. There's also a utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The garden is decent sized. There's a patio with furniture and a firepit, plus some decking. Parking is on site.
The beach is about half a mile away. It's sandy and good for walks. The village has a local pub. For a supermarket, you'd go to Millom, which is about four miles. There's a 9-hole golf course here too.
You're about a 30-minute drive from Coniston Water. Lake Windermere is a bit further. The Lake District National Park is right there. For local walks and history, National Trust Lake District has good information.
In the other direction, you have the coast. There's an RSPB nature reserve at Hodbarrow a few miles down the road.
