Brock Cottage Broughton in Furness

Right, Brock Cottage. It’s in Broughton in Furness. It’s a cottage in an old courtyard, all cobbles outside. The courtyard gets the sun in the morning.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating, which means it’s clean and practical. It’s from about the 1750s, so the stairs are a bit steep, like you’d expect. It’s just how it is.

There's a patio garden out the back that looks over some gardens and fields. It catches the sun later in the day. Good for sitting out.

You’re right in the town. There’s a shop, a couple of pubs, and a restaurant about 200 yards away. You can walk to them in the evening. The town has a butcher and a baker, which is handy.

For getting out, you’re well placed. The Duddon Valley is straight out the door. Coniston Water is a ten minute drive. Ambleside and Windermere are maybe twenty minutes. The coast at Duddon Sands is about two miles away.

Stuff here includes a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bicycle storage if you bring bikes. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring two dogs.
