Wetherlam
Wetherlam is the ground floor flat. It's in a converted barn at Lowick Bridge. It's just outside the village, so it's quiet. You look out onto fields and trees.
The flat sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything works. It's a good base.
You have your own patio area with furniture. There's parking right outside.
There's a pub about a five minute walk away. They're friendly and do food. The nearest shop is in Greenodd, about three miles. That's got a Co-op for basics.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Coniston Water is two miles down the road. You can go sailing there, or just walk around. The fells start almost straight away. You can drive into Grizedale Forest for walking or cycling.
Windermere is about eight miles, if you want the busier towns. For a good day out, the National Trust has a few big houses and gardens nearby, like Tarn Hows.
The place has WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine.
