Wetherlam

Wetherlam is on the ground floor of an old barn, near Lowick Bridge. It's a one-bedroom place, sleeps two. There's another cottage above it called Allt Maen.

It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The main thing is the location. You're right in the Lake District National Park. Coniston Water is about two miles down the road. Windermere is about eight.

You get a patio area to sit out. Parking is right there. There's wifi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.

The local pub is a short walk away. It's friendly and serves food. The nearest shop is in Coniston, about three miles.

If you're here for walking or climbing, the fells are on your doorstep. Blawith Fells are a short drive. For mountain biking, the tracks in Grizedale Forest are good. There's a golf course nearby. You can also go riding locally.
