The Burrow
The Burrow is in Low Wood, Cumbria. It’s a converted building from the old gunpowder works here. You get views of the paddock from the patio.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow, just so you know.
You've got a multi-fuel burner in the living room and underfloor heating, so it's warm. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. It's got an accessible entrance and on-site parking. You can bring two dogs.
The local pub is about 600 yards away and they do food. The nearest shop is a bit further out, about seven miles. The coast is five miles away.
If you're looking for things to do, the western part of the Lake District is easily within a 30 minute drive. For walks and days out, it's worth looking at the Lake District National Park website and National Trust Lake District pages.
