The Burrow
The Burrow is in Low Wood, Cumbria. It's a converted building from an old gunpowder mill. The walls are thick stone, so it feels solid.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well, so everything works. There's underfloor heating and a multi-fuel burner in the living area. You'll be warm.
The patio looks out over a paddock you can use. It's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. You can bring two.
The nearest pub is about a ten minute walk. They do food. The shop is a drive, about seven miles. The coast is five miles away.
For days out, you're not far from the Lake District. Windermere is about a twenty minute drive. Keswick and Ambleside are within half an hour. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but it's worth noting the bathroom is upstairs.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. We've got a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
