Sandfold Farm
Sandfold Farm is Staveley in Cartmel. It's a converted farmhouse, so it's detached and you've got space around you. The main thing is the garden, it's massive, and the view over the hills is really good. You can park three cars easily.
Inside, it sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You come in through a porch, which is handy for boots and coats. The kitchen and dining area is spacious. It's got a wood burner, a dishwasher, and all the usual things. There's a utility room down a few steps from the kitchen.
It's a rural spot. You're not far from the coast at Grange-over-Sands or Morecambe Bay, and the Lake District fells are on your doorstep. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby, like Fell Foot or Tarn Hows.
For local walks, you're close to the southern Lakes. Windermere is about a 15 minute drive, and you can get to Coniston in maybe half an hour. There's a golf course locally, and you can go horse riding or fishing nearby too.
Facilities are all there: wifi, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
