Sandfold Farm
Sandfold Farm is near Staveley in Cartmel. It's a converted farmhouse, detached, so it's just you. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is quite good.
The kitchen is big. It's got a table you can all sit at and a wood burner. The stairs are old farmhouse stairs, I'd keep an eye on small children on them.
The garden is large. It looks south over fields towards the hills. You get a sense of space. There's parking for three cars.
It's a rural spot. The nearest proper shops and places to eat are in Grange-over-Sands or Newby Bridge, about a ten-minute drive. There are walks straight from the door. You can fish locally, or ride horses.
The coast at Morecambe Bay is about fifteen minutes by car. The golf at Grange is very close. For a bigger day out, you can be in the heart of the Lake District, say Windermere or Ambleside, in well under half an hour.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, all bedding and towels. You can bring one dog.
