Riverside Cottage is near Low Nibthwaite. It's mid-terraced, one of three. The main thing is it's quiet here. Just the river and the trees.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. It used to be part of the old sawmill. The garden is bigger than you might think, with a lawn and places to sit.
The River Crake is at the bottom of the garden. You have private fishing rights along your bit of the bank. You can walk or mountain bike straight from the door onto the trails around Coniston Water. There's a big garage for bikes or kit, and parking for two cars.
The nearest pub and restaurant is about a mile away. The nearest shop is four miles, so you'll want to do a big shop on your way in.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, wifi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. We take up to two dogs.
If you're planning trips, the Lake District National Park site is useful. For local history, National Trust Lake District has details on their places.
