The Barn
The Barn is in West Witton, in Wensleydale. It's a barn conversion, next to the main farmhouse. You share the drive with The Farmhouse if it's occupied, but you've got your own garden and parking.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, so that's helpful. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well done and in good order.
You've got a wood burner in the living area. The kitchen has a range cooker and a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two.
The village shop and a tearoom are a short walk away. The local pub, The Wensleydale Heiffer, is also walking distance and does food.
You can walk straight from the door into the dale. For a drive, Aysgarth Falls is about ten minutes away. Hawes is fifteen minutes or so, that's where the Wensleydale Creamery is. Middleham with its castle is about ten minutes in the other direction. Leyburn is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes, that's a proper market town.
