Brooklands Cottage is in Bellerby, a village just outside Leyburn. It's a detached bungalow next to the owners' house, with a brook running by it. The garden looks out over fields and an orchard.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well put together. Everything is on one floor and the main entrance and doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair. There's an open plan living room with a wood burner.
The pub is about 250 yards up the lane. It does food. Leyburn is under two miles away for shops, cafes, and a market on Fridays. You can walk there across the fields if you want.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can start a walk from the door. Middleham Castle is about ten minutes by car. Hawes and Aysgarth Falls are maybe twenty to thirty minutes drive.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. The patio gets the sun. No pets.
