Brooklands Cottage is in Bellerby, North Yorkshire. It's a detached, single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. The owners live next door. There's a stream at the bottom of the garden.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One's an ensuite off the main double bedroom. The second bedroom has a single bed. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is open plan, kitchen, dining, sitting area. The wood burner works well. Patio doors open straight out onto a private patio and the garden. The garden leads into a big wildflower meadow, about eight acres. It's a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
There's a pub about 250 yards up the lane in the village. It's a proper local. The shop is in Leyburn, about two miles away. You can walk to Leyburn across the fields if you want.
For things to do, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can walk straight from the door. Leyburn has a market on Fridays. Middleham Castle is about ten minutes by car. Aysgarth Falls is maybe twenty minutes. Hawes is about half an hour.
Facilities: it has parking, WiFi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance and the layout are wheelchair accessible. No pets.
