Slater's Cottage is in Middleham, right in the middle of the village. It's a terraced house. It sleeps five, across three bedrooms. There are two shower rooms, which is handy. One of them is downstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The living room has an open fire. The kitchen has what you need. There's a small south-facing courtyard out the back. It gets the sun in the evening.
You're right in the village here. The local shop and a couple of pubs are about five minutes' walk. They serve food. You'll hear the racehorses going through the streets to the gallops most mornings. It's part of the place.
Middleham Castle is just up the road. It's an English Heritage site. The views from the keep are very good. English Heritage: Middleham Castle.
For walking, you can start right from the door. The Pennine Way isn't far. For a drive, Leyburn is about ten minutes away. Richmond is maybe twenty minutes. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is all around. Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
