Paddock House is in Middleham, right behind the village square. It's a detached stone bungalow.
It sleeps eight, though it's three bedrooms. There's a super king, then two rooms with zip-link beds that can be twins or super kings, plus a double sofa bed in one of the living rooms. Two bathrooms. Everything is on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You've got two living rooms, so there's space to spread out. The main one has patio doors out to the garden. The garden is landscaped and enclosed. Beyond that is a paddock you can use, when the sheep aren't in it.
Parking is easy, there's space on site and a double garage you can use for storage. There's an electric vehicle charger.
Middleham itself is small. You're a couple of minutes walk from a few pubs, cafes, and a village shop. The castle is here. It's a racing town, so you'll see horses being led through the streets to the gallops most mornings. It's quite a sight.
For days out, you're in Wensleydale. Leyburn is about three miles away for more shops. For a big trip, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site has good information on walks and driving routes. The Middleham Castle page is useful if you're interested in that.
Facilities wise, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. It's family friendly, we provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a BBQ in the garden.
