Lavender Cottage is in Leyburn town centre. It's a terraced house. It's small, but it's been done up nicely. It's got that 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One is a double, the other has bunk beds. There's one bathroom with a shower. The stairs are typical for a cottage, so they're a bit steep.
You're right behind the market square. There are shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs about a minute's walk away. The weekly market is on there. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts just outside town.
The Leyburn Shawl is a good walk that starts in the town. It's not strenuous and the views are worth it. For a drive, Aysgarth Falls is about 20 minutes away. Richmond is a nice Georgian town, about 15 minutes by car. The Middleham Castle ruins are close by too.
Outside, there's a small enclosed patio. It gets the sun. There's a table and chairs out there.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
If you're planning trips, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site has walking routes and information. For heritage sites, English Heritage is useful.
