Lavender Cottage
Lavender Cottage is in Leyburn. It's on a lane just off the market square, so you're close to everything but it's quiet back here.
It sleeps three, maybe four if two are children. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which to me means it's been properly looked after and everything works. It’s got beams and wooden floors. The stairs are steep, like most old cottages.
You can bring one dog. There's on-road parking at the back. The garden is a small patio area, it gets the sun in the afternoon.
In the house you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
Leyburn is good for a base. There's a Co-op, a few cafes, and some pubs that do food. The market is on Fridays. The Shawl is a good walk that starts right in town, it's flat and the views are great.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Aysgarth Falls is about ten minutes by car. For a longer trip, Hawes is about twenty minutes up the road. Richmond is fifteen minutes the other way.
