Griff Head Cottage
Griff Head Cottage is in Melmerby, which is in Coverdale. The first thing you'll notice is the view out the back. It looks straight onto Melmerby Moor. It's just fields and sky.
It's a two bedroom cottage. Sleeps four. It's got two bathrooms, which is handy. It's been done up, so it's comfortable. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website has good maps if you're planning walks.
The patio faces south, so it gets the sun. You get your own bit of garden. For a bigger town, Leyburn is about five miles away. Shops, cafes, that sort of thing.
There's a wood burning stove for the evenings. Parking is right there. We provide the bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We can put a cot or highchair in if you need one.
It can be booked next to Town Head Cottage if you're a bigger group. The doors between them open up.
Walking and cycling from the door is easy. You're right in it. For a day out, Middleham Castle is about a 15 minute drive. Richmond is maybe half an hour.
