Coach House
The Coach House is in West Burton. It's one of four cottages here in my garden. You get the garden to yourself, which is decent sized with a few ponds. There's a river at the bottom. You're welcome to fish in it.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's got everything you need.
The stairs are steep. There's a door at the top. Just be careful on them.
West Burton's a proper little Dales village. Big green, a shop, and a pub about 500 yards away. The pub does food. There's a waterfall just off the green.
For walks, you can just head straight out of the village onto the fells. There's no through traffic, so it's quiet.
Hawes and Leyburn are a short drive away. Hawes has the Wensleydale Creamery and Leyburn has a weekly market. Bolton Castle is about 15 minutes away. If you've got kids, The Forbidden Corner is about a 20 minute drive, but you need to book that in advance.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs.
