Coach House
The Coach House is one of four holiday cottages on our property. It's in West Burton, here in Wensleydale. You'll share the big garden with the other guests, which has a river and ponds, plus fishing if you want it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not a show home. It's been done up but keeps some of the old features.
The village is very quiet and has a proper village green with a waterfall, Burton Force, at one end. There's no through traffic. There's a shop and a pub about a five minute walk away. The pub does food.
For walks, you can go straight from the cottage onto the moors. Hawes and Leyburn are about ten miles away. Hawes has the Wensleydale Creamery and the Black Sheep Brewery. Bolton Castle is nearby too.
If you want a day out, The Forbidden Corner is a strange garden maze. Lightwater Valley is about half an hour by car.
What's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring two dogs.
