Waters Edge Apartment is at the top of The Mill, in West Burton. It's for two people. You can hear the stream and the waterfall from the windows. The view looks down the village and out into Wensleydale.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The building is old, originally a water mill from the 1600s, so the walls are thick and the conversion kept a lot of the character. It's very quiet.
The apartment is all on one floor, which is handy. Everything you need is there: a proper kitchen area, the bed, the bathroom. It's open plan. The owners have put in electric heating and they recycle everything, so it's run in a modern way.
West Burton has a big village green and a good pub about three minutes' walk away. There's a shop too. You're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The walks from the door are excellent. You can fish nearby if that's your thing.
For a day out, Aysgarth Falls is a ten minute drive. Leyburn is about fifteen minutes. Hawes, where they make the Wensleydale cheese, is maybe twenty five minutes. You can get to most of the Dales within half an hour.
In terms of what's there: WiFi, parking right outside, all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
