Waters Edge Apartment The Mill
Waters Edge Apartment is on the top floor of the old mill in West Burton. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. A 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the village stream. You can hear the waterfall from the mill pond. It's very quiet.
The building is old, from the 17th century. The conversion is clever, but it's still an old stone mill. The stairs up to the apartment are stone too, and quite narrow. Something to be aware of.
There's a village green and a shop and a pub, all about a five minute walk. The pub does food. You're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so the walking from the doorstep is excellent.
Inside, it's open plan. Everything you need is there: wifi, TV, kitchen things. The heating is electric. The owners use a green energy supplier. They recycle everything, so you’ll have a few bins to sort.
For a day out, Aysgarth Falls is about ten minutes by car. Leyburn is fifteen minutes. The whole of Wensleydale is easy from here.
You can park right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
