The Old Chapel
The Old Chapel is in Thoralby, which is in the Yorkshire Dales. It's an old chapel that's been converted. You can see the old windows and the beams inside. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There are a couple of things you should know. The stairs up to the games room are in the roof. They're steep and a bit narrow. They're fine if you take your time. Also, it's a chapel conversion, so some of the ceilings are high and the rooms feel quite big. The wood burner in the living room works well.
You're right on the village green. The local pub is about fifty yards away. There's a part-time village shop about a hundred yards in the other direction. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two.
If you like walking, you can start right from the door. For a drive, Hawes is about ten minutes away. That's where the Wensleydale Creamery is. Aysgarth Falls is about fifteen minutes drive. Leyburn is about twenty minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The games room has a pool table.
