Town Head Cottage
Town Head Cottage is in Melmerby, in Coverdale. It's in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The back of the cottage looks out onto Melmerby Moor. The views are very good, mostly over fields and the dale.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been modernised inside, so it's comfortable and everything works. The furniture is nice.
You have your own garden with a south-facing patio. It gets the sun. The living room has a wood burning stove. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.
We can put up a cot and a highchair if you need them. The cottage is sometimes decorated for Christmas if you book then. Sorry, no pets.
There's a pub in the village. For a shop, you'd drive to Leyburn, which is about five miles. It's a market town with places to eat. There are other good pubs serving food a short drive away in the dale.
This is walking and cycling country straight from the door. You're on the edge of the moor. For a day out, Leyburn has a lot. Richmond and Middleham are close too, both with castles. The whole of the Dales is easy to get to from here.
This cottage connects to the one next door, Griff Head Cottage, if you have a bigger group. They can be booked together.
