Town Head Cottage is in Melmerby, up Coverdale in the dales. It's one of two cottages next to each other. You've got your own bit of garden and a south-facing patio.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. The main thing is the view out the back. It looks straight over the garden onto Melmerby Moor. It's all open fields and sky.
You're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The back gate opens onto the moor if you want to walk from the door. For a shop or a pub, you need to go a few miles. Leyburn is the nearest proper town, about five miles away. They've got supermarkets and a few places to eat.
Facilities: there's a wood burning stove, a washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. Parking for two cars just outside.
