Brandy's Barn

Brandy's Barn is in Middleham. It's a converted barn, detached, so it's just you. It's all on one level which is handy.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. You can bring one dog.

The kitchen's open plan with the living room. There are exposed beams. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and looks out over the fields. There's a boot room area by the door for wet coats or muddy paws.

The village is about a quarter of a mile walk. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a few cafes. Middleham Castle is right there in the village, it's a proper ruin. It was Richard III's place. It's an English Heritage site.

You can walk straight out from the door. There are footpaths through the fields. For driving out, Leyburn is three miles. It has a market on Fridays. The Wensleydale Railway runs from there. The Forbidden Corner near Coverham is about four miles, it's a strange garden maze. You can drive up to the Dales easily from here, or over to the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Facilities: there's parking, an enclosed garden, wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included.
