Sweet Pea Cottage is in Redmire, a few miles west of Leyburn. It's a terraced cottage, so you've got neighbours. One of them is next door. There's a small enclosed patio out the back with a table and chairs. You get a view across to Penhill from there. The cottage holds four people. Two bedrooms: one double, one twin. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept. It has a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance is step-free.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, which helps.
The village is quiet. It's in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so walking is right on the doorstep. Redmire has its own stop on the Wensleydale Railway. You can get the train into Leyburn from there.
Bolton Castle is very close. Middleham Castle isn't much further. The Aysgarth Falls are a good walk or a short drive away. For something different, The Forbidden Corner is about ten minutes by car. You'll need to book that in advance.
Leyburn is the nearest proper town for shops, about four miles. Hawes is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes' drive. Both have pubs and places to eat.
