This is Alpine Cottage in Carperby. It's a stone built, detached cottage, right on the village green. You have the garden to yourselves, it's lawned and enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom is downstairs with a door straight out to the garden, so it's level access. The other is upstairs with a kingsize bed. Both have beams.
Inside, it's been done to a high standard. It's comfortable. The living room has a wood burning stove. The kitchen is bright with patio doors. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well equipped and finished nicely.
The village pub is a short walk away. They do food. For walking, you can get straight onto footpaths from the door. Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle are within walking distance.
Hawes is about ten minutes by car. That's where the Wensleydale Creamery is. Leyburn and Middleham are close too. Middleham has the racehorses training through the square. The Forbidden Corner, with its follies and tunnels, is just down the road.
In terms of what's here, there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We take one well-behaved dog.
