3 Winville Mews

3 Winville Mews is in Askrigg, in Wensleydale. It's a mews cottage, so it's in a quiet little yard off the main street. You're a minute's walk from the village centre, but it's peaceful back there.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms upstairs. Both have a good view out over the fields towards Addleborough hill. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kept and comfortable. They've done it up nicely.

You come into a porch with a bench and a big OS map on the wall, which is useful for planning walks. The living room has a multi-fuel stove. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need.

Outside, there's a paved patio with a table and chairs, and a parking space. There's an electric vehicle charger too.

In the village, there's a shop, a deli, and three pubs, all about 25 yards away. The pubs do food. Good walking starts right from the door, up to the Askrigg waterfalls or along the River Ure. You can climb Addleborough if you're feeling energetic.

Hawes and Leyburn are a short drive for more shops and cafes. Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle are nearby. The Forbidden Corner at Middleham is about half an hour away, it's a strange garden place that kids tend to love. Richmond, with its castle and good shopping, is about a 30-minute drive.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. The stove is multi-fuel. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you need it.
