It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It was refurbished a few years ago so everything feels new and works properly. It's comfortable, not just posh.
The stairs go up to the main bathroom. It's in the loft so the ceiling is sloped. It's a big room with a bath, a separate shower, and two sinks. The views from the bedroom windows are of the fields and hills. You can see down the dale.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a Rangemaster and a coffee machine. There's a smart TV and the wifi is good. The garden at the front gets the sun. There's a patio with a table. You can park on site and there's an electric car charger.
The village pub is about a hundred yards away. It's community-run. They serve food and local beer. There's a shop a few miles away in Reeth.
You can walk straight out from the door. Gunnerside Gill is right there. For cycling, it's on the Tour de France route and there's a bike centre in Grinton. If you drive for half an hour you can get to places like Aysgarth Falls or Hawes. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful for planning.
