Swallowholm Cottages 6
This is Swallowholm Cottages number 6. It's in Langthwaite, which is a very small hamlet in Arkengarthdale. You're in the Yorkshire Dales National Park here.
It's a one bedroom cottage, sleeps two. There's a wood burning stove in the living area. The bedroom is on the ground floor and has an en-suite bathroom. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's so you get the view from the main living space. The view is across the river and the dale. It's good.
Because it's a listed building from the 1800s, things like the stairs are cottage stairs. They're not dangerous, but they are what they are.
You're down a short farm track. It's quiet. There's a pub, The Red Lion, about five minutes walk away. They do food. Reeth is about four miles for a shop or other pubs and cafes.
You can walk straight out from the cottage. The area is good for that. For a day out, Richmond is about a 25 minute drive. Barnard Castle is maybe 40 minutes, over the Stang road.
In terms of what's here, it's got the wood burner, a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
