Swallowholm Cottages 6
This is Swallowholm Cottage 6. It's in Langthwaite, which is a small place in Arkengarthdale in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a terraced cottage from the 1800s, so it's Grade II listed. It's just the one for a couple.
It sleeps two in one bedroom. That bedroom is on the ground floor. It's a kingsize bed and it has an en-suite bathroom. The living room and kitchen are upstairs. That's a bit unusual, but it means you get the best views from up there. You look right out over the river and the dale. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
It has a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated so it's comfortable and has things like a washing machine and dishwasher, but it keeps the old features. The stairs are steep, like you'd expect.
You're down a short farm track. It feels properly remote, but there's a local pub about a quarter of a mile away. They do good food. For a shop, you'd drive to Reeth, which is about four miles. It's a nice market town with pubs and tea rooms.
The main thing is you're in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can walk straight from the door onto the hills. Richmond, Leyburn, and Hawes are all within a half hour drive if you want to explore further.
You can bring one dog. There's parking. Bedding and towels are included.
