Cuckoo Hill View is a semi-detached stone cottage in Reeth. The village is right in Swaledale, in the Yorkshire Dales. You get a private courtyard garden at the back.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. The wood burner in the living room works well. It heats the whole place up quickly.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that. There's parking right outside the cottage.
Reeth has a village green, a couple of shops, and a few pubs. They're about half a mile away, so an easy walk. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site is good for walking routes. The footpaths start right from the door.
Richmond is about ten miles east. It's a proper market town with a Norman castle and a Georgian theatre. There's a riverside walk there to Easby Abbey. For a bigger market, Leyburn is seven miles west. It's on Fridays.
If you want to explore further, the North York Moors are about a thirty minute drive. The Lake District is just over an hour away, but you've got enough walking here to last a week.
Inside, it's got a contemporary kitchen and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. No other hidden features, it's just a straightforward cottage in a very good spot.
