Cuckoo Hill View is a semi-detached stone cottage on the edge of Reeth. You look out over the green towards the hills. It's a quiet spot.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living room has a wood burner, which is good for the evenings. There's a small, enclosed courtyard out the back. It's private.
The kitchen is modern and has what you need. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. The courtyard is enclosed, but check it's secure for yours.
Reeth has a couple of pubs and a shop, about a ten minute walk away. They're fine. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts pretty much at the door. You can walk straight out from the cottage.
Richmond is about a 20 minute drive. It's a proper market town with a castle, a theatre, and the river. The ruins of Easby Abbey are nice for a stroll. Leyburn is a similar distance the other way, with its Friday market.
For a change of scene, the North York Moors are about half an hour by car. The coast, like Whitby, is just over an hour.
