Arkle Terrace is a three bedroom cottage on the edge of Reeth green. It sleeps five and you can park on site. It's been done up recently so it's in good nick.
The space is over three floors. Entrance is into a boot room, good for muddy boots and dogs if you have them. Through there is a kitchen and separate dining room. The living room is at the front. There's a wood burner which we keep stocked with a basket of logs for you. The third bedroom is downstairs too, next to a shower room.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and the main bathroom. The bathroom has a big bath and a separate shower.
Outside, there's a small flagged courtyard out the back with a table. It gets the sun in the afternoon. At the front there's a bench by the door.
Reeth is a good spot. You've got the village shop, a couple of pubs, and a bakery all within a very short walk. You can leave the car here most days if you want. The Dales Bike Centre is at Grinton, about a mile down the road.
For walks, you can start right from the door. Low-level ones along the river Swale or harder ones up onto the moors. You're in the middle of it. Richmond is about a 20 minute drive. Barnard Castle is about the same the other way.
