Deer Park is a cottage near Reeth, up in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a 5 Star place, which means everything is new and works properly. It sleeps eight, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor.
The main thing is the view. The house is high up and you can see right across Swaledale from the big windows and the patio. There's a wood burner, underfloor heating, and a dining room with doors that open out. It's a good house for a group because there's space to spread out.
The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so a bit steeper than you'd get at home.
You're right in walking and cycling country. Paths start from the door. Reeth is about three miles down the road for shops and pubs. There's a farmers market there sometimes.
For a day out, Richmond is about a 25 minute drive. It's got a castle and a river. Hawes is maybe 35 minutes, where the Wensleydale cheese is made. The Forbidden Corner is popular with kids, that's about half an hour away too.
Facilities: it's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV, parking. There's an electric car charger. Bedding and towels are included. No pets. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep.
