The Coach House
The Coach House is in High Fremington, near Reeth in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a converted stone building, so the walls are thick and the rooms feel solid. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has an ensuite shower. The main bathroom has a big roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle. The stairs inside are fine, but the steps down to the back garden are quite steep. There's a stairgate at the top.
The kitchen is big, with an island and a farmhouse table. It's well-equipped, with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has plenty of seating and a TV with Netflix.
Outside, there's a small enclosed walled garden. It gets the sun in the evening. There's a BBQ and room to sit out. You can park right next to the property.
You’re right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can start walking from the door. The Coast to Coast path and the Pennine Way are nearby. The local pub in Grinton is about half a mile walk. It's by the river and does food. Reeth village is just over a mile away. It has a couple of shops, tea rooms, and pubs.
Further out, you’ve got Richmond, which has the castle and the river. Leyburn is about eight miles. Both are good for a wander and some shopping. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful for planning walks. English Heritage has details for Richmond Castle.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it.
