High Dale Cottage is in Bellerby, a small village just outside Leyburn. It’s a one-bedroom cottage, sleeps two. Looks straight out onto the village green.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s been done up nicely. Downstairs is all open plan, kitchen and living area together. There’s a wood burner for the colder nights. Upstairs, the bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with oak beams. The en-suite shower room is good.
The patio is south facing, so it gets the sun all day. There’s garden furniture and a BBQ out there. The garden is enclosed, so it’s fine for one dog.
The village pub is a minute’s walk away. They’re friendly and do food. Leyburn is about two miles. You can walk there across the fields if you want. It’s a proper market town with shops, cafes, and a few pubs.
You can just start walking from the door into the dales. Middleham with its castle is a short drive. For a good day out, Aysgarth Falls and Hawes are within half an hour. Swaledale is about the same, places like Reeth and Muker.
Facilities are all there: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street right outside.
