Penthwaite
Penthwaite is in Leyburn. It's a detached stone house, modern inside. You can walk into the town centre in a few minutes.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's spacious and light, with big windows. The ceilings are high upstairs.
There's a large living area, a dining room, and a smaller snug off the kitchen. The kitchen has all the appliances you'd need. The stairs are open and in the middle of the main room.
All three bedrooms are en-suite. Two are doubles. The third room has a single cabin bed with another single that pulls out from underneath. There's a small step from one of the double bedrooms out to the patio.
Outside, there's a tiered patio with garden furniture and a hot tub. The owner asks that you bring outdoor shoes to get to the hot tub. Bath robes are provided.
Leyburn has a weekly market, shops, cafes and pubs. A shop, pub and restaurant are about 200 yards away.
For walks, the Leyburn Shawl is close by. You can walk to Bolton Castle and Middleham Castle. Aysgarth Falls and the waterfall at Hardraw Force are a short drive. The Forbidden Corner is in Coverdale. Richmond is about a 20-minute drive and has a lot of history. The North York Moors National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park are both within easy reach.
Facilities include parking, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, bedding and towels, and bicycle storage. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. You can bring up to two pets.
