Dales View
Dales View is the one up the hill in Sedbusk. It's an old stone cottage from the 1700s. The views from the front are really good, straight out over the dale.
It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps with the morning queue. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, but it's still an old cottage. The floors are wooden and the walls are stone in places. The stairs are what you'd expect.
There's an open fireplace with a wood burner. It gets used a lot. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of which, you can bring up to two. There's a barbecue out there too.
Hawes is about a mile down the road. That's where the main shops are, plus a few pubs and the Wensleydale Creamery. There's a pub at Simonstone, half a mile away, that does food.
You're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Hardraw Force waterfall is very close. For a longer drive, you can get to Windermere in the Lakes in under an hour.
The cottage has all the usual stuff: wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
