Watersedge

Watersedge is in Gayle. It's a mid-terraced cottage. The main thing is its position right next to the waterfalls on Gayle Beck. You can see the water flowing past from the living room and the terrace.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.

Outside is a patio with furniture so you can sit and look at the falls. There's parking on site.

You can bring one dog.

It's right on the Pennine Way, so you can start walking straight from the door. Hawes is about a ten minute walk away. That's where the shops and pubs are. On the way, you pass the Wensleydale Creamery, which is worth a visit.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle, and Lake Semerwater for sailing or fishing. The Forbidden Corner is a bit further.
